•April 10, 2012 • Leave a CommentI went to the UGA Relay Exec Meeting on Wednesday, March 28, to check up on how the leaders of the organization are doing this year. The focus was on office hours at their Tate Center office, participation in events for Greek Week and fundraising efforts against Virginia Tech, UGA’s main competition for the title of the No. 1 Collegiate Relay team in the country.

Fundraising Challenges
•March 20, 2012 • Leave a CommentRelay for Life at the University of Georgia presents several different types of fundraising challenges to inspire teams to raise more money. Nearly every Greek organization has a Relay for Life team, and so Relay has a fundraising challenge specific to Greek teams. They also have a non-Greek fundraising challenge.
DTF: Are You Down to Fight?
•February 25, 2012 • Leave a CommentProfile: Kathleen Dailey
•February 17, 2012 • Leave a CommentThe greatest thing about Relay for Life is the people. People like Kathleen Dailey.
Kathleen is one of my sorority sisters and, on top of that, she’s one of my best friends.
Seeing her work so hard for such a great cause leaves me speechless.
I hardly ever see her because she’s so busy.
Not only is she the executive director of one of the largest on-campus organizations at the University of Georgia, but she’s also an English and Women Studies double major who coaches youth basketball and volleyball at the Oconee County Recreation Center.
She devotes her time and energy to other people on a daily basis.
And she is just one part of what makes Relay for Life so great.
I can’t wait to list the other 1,000 things that make it such an amazing organization in future posts.
